born and raised in the suburban midwest, scott padden has been making music in san francisco since 2011. his songs have been described by his peers as "real, raw, and fantastically heartfelt."

his band, the evangelicals, was christened in early 2016 and spent the past two years supporting acts like levi parham, omar velasco, lola kirke, oh pep!, the americans, lillie mae, and phil lesh. their debut ep is due for release in december.

he regularly tours as a bassist with goodnight texas, andrew st. james, the stone foxes and scott law & ross james' cosmic twang, and has performed on many of his friends' records.
